New Dates: April 16-17, 2021 EVENT POSTPONEMENTPer state and local agencies, we are not allowed to host the Interstate BBQ Festival on April 18th at the Washington County Agricultural Education Center in Hagerstown, MD due to concerns of the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). THE NEW DATE IS SATURDAY, APRIL 17, 2021The number of moving parts is exceedingly large, and we are still working out many of the logistical details. But, provided order is restored, and society returns to a new normal, we promise to deliver everything you signed up for and more. For the sake of EVERYONE involved, we ask for your patience, prayers, and kindness during this time. COMPETITION TEAMS: The entire event is being transferred to April 16-17, 2021, including all team registrations, amenities, and ancillary events (SCA is NOT run by us) ATTENDEES(TICKET HOLDERS): Your tickets will be valid at the event on April 17, 2021. VENDORS/ENTERTAINMENT/LOGISTICS/PARTNERS: Everything is transferred to April 16-17, 2021. Emails will be sent with specific options/arrangements. Thank you again for your patience, support, and understanding. *ALL COMMUNICATION WILL OCCUR VIA EMAIL. PHONE CALLS, TEXTS, SOCIAL MEDIA MESSAGES WILL ALSO BE DIRECTED AS SUCH.   All space sizes, amenities and ancillary events that we control are inventoried and are FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED. Returning teams may request the same spot or area in the registration. SCA Contest will be run by an outside partner. Upwards of 80 teams compete in Pro and Backyard divisions with a number of ancillary events including a People's Choice Competition. The family friendly festival in Hagerstown, MD draws thousands of spectators to sample and purchase some of the east coast's finest barbeque, enjoy live music, kids activities and more. The 2020-21 event is now April 16-17, 2021, only open to the public on Saturday, April 17th.
