We are seeking a talented person to join our team at a unique tropical nursery. This position is for a Nurseryhand to assist with the general care and propagation of our some 40 species of bamboo. This includes various propagation methods as well as planting, weeding, fertilizing and general grounds maintenance of our growing area. Addition responsibilities would include assisting customers with loading and occasionally going out and assisting our field crew with landscape jobs.
We are located on a beautiful two-acre property in central Pinellas County where we have
our live plant nursery, outdoor showroom and a small gift shop. We specialize in growing clumping (non-invasive) bamboo and sell other live plants, provide custom landscaping, build bamboo fences and offer unique décor items.
Applicants must:
1)Be self- motivated and detail- orientated
2)Have a reliable means to get to work on time
3)Be able to work outdoors. You must be able to work in our Summer heat!
4)Be able to lift at least 50lbs and be on your feet for long periods.
We are looking for someone to start full-time immediately
Compensation starts at $13 p/h
