In this intermediate series, students will review construction techniques for coil, soft slab, paddle and pinch while focusing on finishing statements, additional glazing systems and aesthetic choices--they all make a difference! Come play with us and learn to listen to the clay.
Non-members: $250 for 6 weeks. Members: $200.
Fee does not include materials. Clay will be three dollars a pound which covers basic glazing and firing costs.
NOTE: COVID-19 protocols are in place for the safety of our teachers and students, including wearing masks while inside the building.
About the instructor: Lee Cummings has had twenty years as a production potter, taught at Germantown Academy and Unity College, and had a one person show at the University Museum in Bangor as well as sold through Littlefield Gallery and Greenhut Gallery.
