Join us for a long-awaited evening of holiday fun! Please join us at Karbach Brewery in Houston for a holiday tradition we haven't held in a few years - Jingle Bells for Journalists! Bring your business cards and your holiday cheer! Appetizers will be served and members get their first drink on us. This event is sponsored by: Society of Professional Journalists, Houston Pro chapter Society of Professional Journalists, Sam Houston State campus chapter National Association of Hispanic Journalists, Houston chapter National Association of Black Journalists, Houston chapter Dress: Business casual. The venue has both indoor and outdoor spaces. Social distancing is strongly recommended, and when indoors, masks are recommended. The Society of Professional Journalists is a non-profit organization that works to inspire and educate current and future journalists through professional development and protect First Amendment guarantees of freedom of speech and the press through its advocacy efforts.  The SPJ Houston Pro chapter serves journalists and journalism students and educators throughout the greater Houston area and surrounding counties.  It is one of five pro chapters in Texas; the state also has 10 campus chapters.
