We are very excited to host a traditional Swedish Julbord at the Omni Hotel by the Star in Frisco, the home of the Dallas Cowboys! Jan Loov, chef at Omni, will be cooking and preparing all the traditional Swedish Christmas food and we will all be able to enjoy a fantastic gastronomical Julbord a la Sweden. This year SWEA will have a mini-Jul Bazar at the event, where you can buy Swedish themed Christmas decorations and much more. You must have checked in as a dinner guest to access the bazar. Venue: Omni Hotel at the Star in Frisco Time & date: Sunday December 12 at 4 PM Julbord menu includes smoked and cured (gravad) salmon, pickled herring, eggs, potatoes, pates, sausages, Swedish meatballs, Jansson's Temptation, Dopp i Grytan, ribs, red cabbage, ham, potato, sausage, Brussel sprouts, bread, cheese, crispy bread, desserts, candy and more.
