Join Us For Our Fall Whistle Workshop Led by Quin Herron! Our whistle workshop will focus on Irish tune structure plus tools, exercises and strategies to improve general tune learning and learning by ear. There will be plenty of time for questions and answers, playing and troubleshooting. This workshop is for beginner to intermediate adult players. It is expected that you have basic knowledge of your instrument. Seating is limited. ABOUT QUIN HERRON Quin grew up in La Mesa listening to The Chieftains and Matt Molloy. He has been involved in Irish Traditional Music since high school, when he switched from silver flute to Irish flute and tin whistle. Beginning in 2017, Quin has been a consistent addition to traditional music sessions in the San Diego area. Quin minored in Music at the University of San Francisco and has traveled extensively throughout Ireland Quin's workshop is partially underwritten by a generous grant from the Department of Foreign Affairs of Ireland – Emigrant Support Program.
