Chimera’s Open Jewelry Studio is a place for non-members to work on their jewelry projects! Need to make something before the holidays?We are opening up our studio this holiday season!What we provide: Access to our jewelry benches, flex shafts, hand tools, rolling mills, torches, tumblers, enameling equipment, hydraulic press, and more. What you need to bring: All materials and consumables are the responsibility of the student (such as metal, wire, specific bits & burs, ect.) All sessions will be monitored, but no additional instruction will occur A Chimera jewelry staff member will be present to ensure your safety & safe use of equipmentPartisapants are expected to have been a previous student of the jewelry department at Chimera or have had prior experience in jewelry making Open studios is for 16+years, minors need to have permission from our facility and have a signed parental consent form to attend Staff will direct you to take our jewelry sign-off training or take one of our classes such Beginning Jewelry 101 if you are unfamiliar with the use of the tools provided. Partisapants are responsible for any damage that may occur from misuse of tools and equipment Cancelation Policy: All refunds must be requested at least 72 hours prior to class start. Due to Covid-19, classes are subject to rescheduling/ cancellatoins. Refunds would be issued at that time if necessary. If you feel sick at any time during the class series, please refrain from attending and contact [email protected] Chimera is Sonoma County's first non-profit community arts and makerspace, located in downtown Sebastopol at the old Ford Garage building across from The Barlow. We're a community of makers, artists, engineers and creatives of all types who love to share, learn and work together. We are located in a 3,000 sq.ft. facility with 4,000 sq.ft. exterior space at 6791 Sebastopol Ave. Suite #180 in downtown Sebastopol, California. Our facility includes space and tools for electronics, jewelry, 3D printing, laser cutting, metalworking, welding, crafts/textiles, woodworking and more!
