Direct hire Assembler positions available in Northwest Houston with a $1,000 sign on bonus & excellent benefits with immediate openings. Position is responsible for: Fitting & assembling components and sub-components of lift truck products per specifications of assembly drawings and standard operations procedures. Benefits: • $1000 Sign on Bonus • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Employee assistance program • Health insurance • Life insurance • Vision insurance Qualifications: • High School Diploma or GED. • Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English • Good hand eye coordination skills • Ability to work with various electrical, hand, and air tools • 2+ years of stable work history preferred • Lift from pallet to waist up to 40 lbs. frequently and 60 lbs. occasionally • Push/pull up to 60 lbs. at waist level occasionally • Lifting up to 100 lbs. occasionally • Independent mobility with frequent standing for extended periods of time • Flexibility for frequent reaching to various heights and distances. • Manual dexterity sufficient to use various hand tools and reach and handle products/equipment • Visual acuity sufficient to assemble parts in correct position • Hear and talk sufficient to communicate with coworkers • Assembly experience in Manufacturing environment preferred but not required • Equipment and Tools Used • Warehouse/Assembly Experience preferred but not required
