Celebrating the history of midwifery in Santa Cruz County from pre-contact to the present, with a focus on the 1974 Santa Cruz Birth Center. An exhibition celebrating the history of midwifery in Santa Cruz County from pre-contact to the present, with a focus on the 1974 Santa Cruz Birth Center "Bust" and the resulting California Supreme Court Decision. 501C3 Non profit museum dedicated to gathering and sharing the history of San Lorenzo Valley.  This is achieved through Educational Outreach, Exhibts - both local and traveling, history talks and walks, community events, and operating the museum in a National Register-listed church building.
