The film centers on the titular Mr. Fox, a former thief who now spends his days taking care of his family after promising to his wife to end his thieving ways. 12 fox years later (or two human years) however, he gives in to his natural instincts and raids the farms of their human neighbors, Boggis, Bunce and Bean. This puts Mr. Fox, his family, and their animal friends in the vengeful farmers’ crosshairs, forcing them to go underground and Mr. Fox to tap into his natural craftiness to save the day.
