...because as women, we need spaces to affirm, support, uplift and love one another. Simple as that. This Sistah Circle is a simple space. A space to recognize ourselves as powerful beings. Not always having to be strong. Allowing ourselves to be safely vulnerable. Not pretending. Not putting on the face, but truly shedding the façade of having to appear to always have it together. Always having the answers. But don't be mistaken. This is not a woe is me space. It is not a space to vent without filling in the blanks with empowering affirmations, affirming answers and a roadmap to find our way back to our greatness if we feel we have lost our way. It is a space where women recognize, affirm, uplift and support each other to wholeness, greatness and higher levels of self.       The Nzinga Creative Arts Center is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit organization whose mission is to "creatively" provide Arts, Cultural, Educational and Social programs for the purpose of nurturing, building and strengthening the mind, body and soul of children and adults.
