A MANHOOD TRAINING for black boys led by successful and active black men. Learn life lessons while back country camping over Spring Break.
This manhood training will take place for 3 days/2 nights in the Quachita National Forrest and 1 full day at in-door facility in Little Rock, Arkansas. Over this weekend long experience, black boys ages 11-18 will learn from a group of men how to best show up in the world as black boys and one day men. Black boys will learn the importance of being both leaders and followers. They will learn how to affectively channel their aggression, masculinity and pride. They will be challenged to express their emotions and to be compassionate for others. They will hike, fish, participate in yoga exercises and conversations led by black attorneys, artists, educators, athletes and therapists over a warm forrest fire.
