We provide several weeks of training, uniform, vehicle, cell phone and lots of support. The only experience we are looking for is somebody who has a great attitude, experience working hard, interfacing with customers, taking responsibility for the quality of their work, and being comfortable and humble enough to ask questions. Summary The role of the technician is a non-exempt position, reporting to the service manager. Generally, the Field Technician is responsible to perform pest control functions as described below. Essential Tasks Provide timely pest detection, elimination and prevention tasks. Make a thorough inspection of each property and take the appropriate approved measures to eliminate the pest problem. Minimum Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older. Valid California Driver's License with an acceptable DMV record. Ability to use a smart phone and scheduling app to prioritize your day. Must have a command of basic English to communicate with customers. Customer focus Preferred Qualifications: Willingness Physical Demands: Must have the ability Lift/Push/Pull/Carry up to 70 pounds. Must be able to access and be comfortable with working in a variety of conditions to include confined spaces, damp and/or dusty locations, freezing conditions and hot conditions. Must be able to physically perform the essential duties of the position which include lifting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, use hands to finger, balancing, walking, standing, talk and hear. Must be capable of wearing a respirator. Possess or able to obtain pest certification pursuant to country or state/local law. We will train you for the license.
