Would you like to participate in programs that improve the lives of girls and women in our community? If your answer is yes, consider joining the American Association of University Women* (AAUW) Sarasota Branch. We provide scholarships for women returning to college, week-long STEM opportunities at a college for seventh grade students; we send two women from area colleges to Washington, D.C. for a week of leadership building, and even more. Membership requires a commitment to building a brighter future for girls and women, and we would love your participation. *Our National organization requires that our members have a minimum of an Associate’s Degree or equivalent. AAUW is a 140-year-old organization.
