Critical Firearms Handling Skills needed for all Concealed Carry holders. Pre-Requisite is Handgun Form & Accuracy. NOTE: IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO TAKE ALL 3 SKILL-BUILDERS AT A DISCOUNTED PACKAGE PRICE, PLEASE STOP INTO THE STORE TO SIGN UP. Pre-Requisite is Handgun Form and Accuracy. You musty have completed Form & Accuracy to take Skill Builder 1. Students must bring their own firearm (no Revolvers) and 200 rounds of ammunition. (4 boxes) NOTICE- meet at the RANGE approximately 10 minutes before class. - In this course you will have an opportunity to increase your knowledge of defensive shooting and will learn techniques for using your handgun in self defense. This class will develop muscle memory, proper form, and pistol manipulation skills while applying essential techniques that will establish a foundation for more advanced shooting. Emphasis is on accurate shot placement and not speed…doing everything right and slow to build proper muscle memory and technique so when you do move fast, you do it right and hit where you need to. You will learn to Handling jams and malfunctions, and performing tactical magazine changes, as well as work with techniques that will enable you to effectively engage an attacker. Pre-Requisites: - Completion of Form & Accuracy - Ability to independently load, fire, and unload firearm. Class size is limited to increase instructor to student ratio. 1:4. Approximate length of course: 1.5 hours The key to becoming truly armed is to learn as much about your firearm and shooting as you can, and to practice often. Frequently practicing what you learn in class will develop the necessary skills and habits you will need to effectively defend yourself.
