PENNSYLVANIA — The pilot who took off from Pennsylvania in a small plane last week headed for Massachusetts remains missing, authorities said, days after wreckage was found off the Atlantic coast. Roger Mills, of Woburn, Massachusetts, left Reading Airport on Sunday afternoon, Oct. 31, to meet a friend. His plane was reported as crashed in the ocean, but it took days to find what minimal wreckage has thus far been discovered. The Cape Cod Times reported the plane was found in 80 feet of water 3 miles off North Beach in Massachusetts. The U.S. Coast Guard called off its search for the Piper 28 aircraft Tuesday morning. They said they searched for 55 hours and covered 2,076 square miles of ocean. With reporting from Patch correspondent Jimmy Bentley
