DARIEN, IL — Darien saw a slight drop in new coronavirus cases in the last week, according to the DuPage County Health Department. As of Sunday, Darien had seen 2,076 coronavirus cases since the beginning of the pandemic, up 21 in the last week. The week before last, the city experienced 23 new cases. The city's number of coronavirus deaths stayed the same in the last week, at 25. The deaths work out to about a thousandth of Darien's population. The number of those who have recovered is unavailable.
