We have a beautiful Rhode Island Red rooster we need to rehome. He has lovingly been my boys’ favorite chicken, but he recently started attacking them unprovoked (3 & 4 years old kids) and we need to rehome him before anything worse happens to them. He has never shown me or another adult any aggression. We got him as a few days old chick on March 29th this year, so he is barely 8 months old. He has happily lived with 8 hens and has had a big coop & run, but loves to free range. He is protective over the hens and we will be so sad to have him go.
