ARTIST MEMBERSHIP APPLICATIONS OPEN NOW Flower Shop Collective invites local Brooklyn based artists to apply for the opportunity to access our space and resources to create new work in our 250 sq ft Brooklyn headquarters. Flower Shop Collective provides selected artists with curatorial guidance, fabrication guidance, documentation, space to safely store and create work, and an inclusive community of Black, brown, Indigenous, minority ethnic, and immigrant artists to engage or collaborate with. Flower Shop Collective is an art studio that cultivates the ideas of emerging artists working towards more equitable futures. We remain in servitude to artists of color, and we remain determined to cultivate stories of diaspora and home, wherever home may be. Additional Details: - FSC HQ is located in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, and is open for use 24/7. - FSC artist memberships are offered on a sliding scale. We understand that having and maintaining a studio is hard and costly. We hope that by providing a space for artists to come and go at a subsidized cost can help alleviate the cost and risk of a personal studio. - The minimum monthly membership to use FSC HQ is $200/month. - Painters, Sculptors, and digital artists are strongly encouraged to apply. - Black, brown, Indigenous, minority ethnic, and immigrant artists are strongly encouraged to apply. - If you would like to schedule a tour of the space prior to please let us know.
