Your band's SOUND is your product. A great sound and stage presence are two key factors to your success. If you or one of your bandmates is handling the sound from the stage, you are missing a big opportunity to present your best sound. What you hear on stage is so different from what your audience hears. There is no way to get the best mix when sitting behind the drums or next to your instrument. That's why more and more, bands are using a dedicated FOH sound guy for their shows. The sound guy (or gal) is the most important component of your show that most bands don’t really think about. They can elevate your band to a new level. The MIX the audience hears around the room is critical (and different). Someone too loud or too soft can draw complaints and criticism; and an unbalanced (or badly EQ'd) sound will be annoying. So, if you're still running sound from stage in 2022, but you'd like to try using a soundman, give me a call, text or email. I have a very good system (digital mixer; powered speakers, subs, and monitors). I can also add LED programmable lights using ShowXpress. Very reasonable, cooperative and friendly (also a musician, so I understand your language and needs). Band and video references can be provided. Prices are primarily based on whether I use your equipment or mine, how much equipment is provided, and location of gig. Based in Berks, but will travel to surrounding counties. Introductory discounts for NEW bands will be considered.
