Known by many as the gentle giant of Amazon parrots, the mealy Amazon is a docile, easy to-train bird that can be an excellent pet. These beautiful, large birds may not have the flashy colors of other parrots, but their loving, friendly personality makes up for that. They are the right choice for bird owners who want a large parrot but would prefer one with a laid back attitude. We estimate he’s around 6-7 years old. Male, with certification and band. He’s laid back. Content with just hanging around. He’s very quiet and doesn’t get too Rowdy like other amazons, but does like to talk and sing a little. He’s good with other birds and parrots, does great with our pineapple conure. He’s more incline to being with males than females. Including are a large cage with stand, toys and another spare cage with wheels.
