Join JCP on November 13 for the annual Midnight Run. The Midnight Run is a night of learning and distributing donated goods to the homeless. Join JCP on November 13 for the annual Midnight Run. The Midnight Run is a night of learning and distributing donated goods to Manhattan’s homeless population. The event is open to grades 8 - 12. We will meet at Park Avenue Synagogue at 8 pm and join Jewish teens from across Manhattan, starting off the night by sorting donated clothing, toiletries, and blankets, and preparing meals and snacks. We will hear from a formerly homeless Midnight Run staff member who benefitted from Midnight Run distributions in the past, and we'll receive training on how to best distribute our resources and interact with the clients.  As a JCP group, we will then travel by van to various locations across Manhattan, distributing goods and meeting the clients. We'll finish the night at the Rescue Mission on Lafayette Street, and return to JCP at approximately 12:30 am. Masks and proof of vaccination will be required for attendance.
