An Organ Recital Featuring Maxine Thévenot Acclaimed for her “solid musicianship … technical security and poise” by The American Organist, and “extremely tender and very thrilling … her playing, is as always, excellent” (July 2021) by The Diapason Magazine, Maxine Thévenot is among the foremost artists of her generation, hailed across North America and Europe for her skillful, musical playing, inventive programming, and recognized for her excellence as a recording artist. Dr. Thévenot is a frequent featured performer, conductor, and lecturer at national and regional conventions of the American Guild of Organists and the Royal Canadian College of Organists. Now in her 17th year at the Cathedral, Canon Dr. Thévenot serves as Director of Cathedral Music & Organist. Her program will include works by J. S. Bach, Frank Bridge, César Franck, and Florence Price, which will show the strength and versatility of the Cathedral’s Reuter Organ.
