Mia Tavonatti Productions I am honored to have had my glass mosaic "Whales" chosen as the 1st mosaic work of art to go to the moon as part of the Lunar Codex "Nova Collection". I'm over the moon with excitement! THE LUNAR CODEX / ARTISTS ON THE MOON announces "The Nova Collection" "I'm pleased to announce that [AOTM] is placing the works of several hundred artists and poets on a nanofiche-based time capsule aboard NASA partner Intuitive Machines Nova-C Lunar Lander, launching November 2021 via SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket to the Oceanus Procellarum region of the Moon. Significantly, works from the artists of The Bennett Prize from its 2019 Round 1.0 and 2021 Round 2.0 awards have been selected for "The Nova Collection", along with curated works from several private galleries, collections privée​s, and from selected literary artists."
