Standup for Veterans Award Luncheon acknowledges the sacrifices veterans made and are making on behalf of our community, city and country. On this Veterans Day, let us remember the service of our veterans, and let us renew our national promise to fulfill our sacred obligations to our veterans and their families who have sacrificed so much so that we can live free. The Arthur Lockhart Resource Institute with Commissioner Brandon Johnson, State Representative LaShawn Ford, and State Representative Camille Lilly. Hosts the 5th Annual Award Luncheon celebrating the service of all veterans. Performances, awards, hot meal with all the trimmings, and gifts will be distributed to all veterans along with various resources. The Event is FREE but veterans must show their DD214 form or Veterans ID to receive awards and gifts must also provide proof of covid-19 vaccination. The Arthur Lockhart Resource Institute is a not-for-profit social service community based organization committed to enriching, empowering and encouraging the positive growth of the residents of the Austin community of Chicago.  The purpose of the Institute is to improve the economic, educational, psychological and social experiences of the members of the Austin community that include Veterans and their families.
