Susan Burkholder worked for 30 years in the health care industry in sales, marketing, consulting, coaching, and executive management roles. In 2013, Susan felt called to get involved in the issue of human trafficking. She served as an Ambassador for Shared Hope International, and became an active member of the Alamo Area Coalition Against Trafficking. Since 2015, she has served as a volunteer with Ransomed Life. Susan currently serves as Ransomed Life’s Director of Community Awareness. Since they began tracking numbers in 2015, the Ransomed Life Community Awareness Team has presented on the topic of Human Trafficking for over 30,000 community members, school staff, counselors, medical professionals, parents, and youth ages 11 and up. In June, 2020; Susan became a charter member of the Rotary Club to End Human Trafficking, an international cause based e-club. In July 2021, Susan transferred, as a Charter Member, to the District 5840 Combat Human Trafficking Rotary Club (currently a Satellite Club of Fair Oaks Ranch Rotary). She is serving as Public Image Co-Chair for the District Wide 5840 Combat Human Trafficking Rotary Club.
