Three teams compete in a whole hog cooking competition with celebrity guest judges, lots of food, DJ, drinks and more! Three teams will compete in a whole hog cooking competition. They will go up against each other for a chance to win a whole roaster pig for them to cook at a later date and the coveted title of Fine Swine master! We have lined up some great festivities for you! Celebrity Chef and Guest Judge John Tesar from Knife Dallas. John has been a two time contestant on Top Chef, has one of the best steak houses in the state, and is a great farm supporter and personal friend. Celebrity Chef and Guest Judge James Canter from Guerilla Gourmet. James is also a long time friend and farm supporter. James has worked in some of the best restaurants across the country and was a contestant on Guy's Grocery Games as well as many other cooking competitions. Guest Chef and Instructor John Tamez. The reigning champion of the Fine Swine Cook-off, Tamez lead the teams that won both the previous Fine Swine Cook-offs with his students at the Art Institute Manisse Davison from Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits will be our host bartender Aaron Peña from Squeezebox and Amor Eterno will be spinning some awesome tunes from 3-7PM. Aaron is one of the coolest cats we know. Valet. There will be valet parking included with the VIP tickets and for purchase with the General Admission tickets. Cooking will be done most of the day, we will allow guests to arrive around 3PM when the DJ starts playing and this will allow them to see the pigs as they are taken off the fire to rest before carving. Judging will be at 5PM and service will also begin at 5:00PM for the VIP section. General Admission tickets will include watching the competition, enjoying the music and festivities and tasting from all participants, and hors d'voures. VIP tickets will include seating in the VIP section, custom house made charcuterie, bar and valet parking.
