Description
Stratton is a mix breed dog looking for a loving new home with large dogs or no other dogs, and of course his humans!!!
He was born in South Carolina and relocated to NY as a puppy. We adopted and were told he was a Labrador Mix. The only thing I asked where I adopted him, was to not have a dog with any Pit Bull….my daughter was the victim of a horrible Pit Bull attack. She spent 3 days in the hospital, and I still have nightmares about it.
Once Stratton matured, we saw the pit bull features and had him tested. He also LOVES to play with other dogs, but doesn’t realize his strength with smaller dogs, so it’s best if he is with dogs larger than himself.
He is very sweet and shows so much love to us and my three young children. I am not comfortable with the unpredictability of the traits inherent in the breed, and simply can not keep him due to our prior attack history with PitBulls. My children and their friends are devastated at losing Stratton. I do not recommend him around cats for the same reason.
My daughter (PitBull attack victim), does not want him to leave, but I feel I have no choice.
He is neutered, house trained and crate trained. He loves walking on the leash,as my children walked him all the time.
He loves his bones and toys and loves to play fetch with sticks too!
We did DNA on him and he is 34.5 percent pit bull; he is also German Shepherd, Beagle, Chow and Labrador Retriever.
He is very beautiful, smart and follows routines well. Please consider giving Stratton a loving home with you!
Small rehoming fee just to ensure he goes to a good home.
