Orchestra Santa Monica opens its 2021-2022 Season with an intimate chamber music concert and a preview of a new film "We Gather". Orchestra Santa Monica and Music Director Roger Kalia open the 2021-2022 season with a performance of Mahler Symphony #1, arranged by Iain Farrington for 15 musicians. The orchestra will also preview its first art film "We Gather: Black Life in Santa Monica told through Music, Visuals, and Narrative". To celebrate our return to live performances, admission to this concert is free! Tickets must be ordered in advance. Orchestra Santa Monica's mission is to build a strong community of classical music lovers of all ages and make a positive impact on the quality of people’s lives.
