Enjoy the healing nature of time outdoors with family. Spend Friday & Saturday night on the farm. Spend Friday & Saturday nights on the farm. We have power, water, a pit toilet (no showers) and fire ring. We will provide an orientation tour, small basket of veggies and you can harvest your own eggs. BYO camping gear, firewood and fun (limit 1 car / 4 people). Please call to add additional guests. *having a fire will be based on weather. Our Campouts provide your family a place and time to experience nature, to smell, see, taste, touch, and hear all of the organic farm and what its wild places have to offer. In this way, we will set the stage for our children to develop their own healthy relationships with nature, food and exercise. The admission donation gives you semi-private access to the upper farm and will help our nonprofit organization weather the challenges of the COVID-19 crisis. Additional funds gifted will support our produce donation program to vulnerable families in our community or our farm care program for working families. In order to ensure health and safety, we will provide instructions about enjoying seasonal opportunities during your stay as conditions evolve. *Please be sure to check in with the on-site staff. They will provide additional information if necessary. We can provide a full refund or reschedule your visit up to 30 days before your visit. **please note we have big, friendly farm guard dogs on the farm. Their job is to protect the farm, its animals and plants. Please do not be afraid of them, they are nice. Who we are Farm Discovery at Live Earth is a nonprofit organization working in the Pajaro Valley community to empower youth and families to build and sustain healthy food, farming, social and natural systems. Our home, Live Earth Farm, is a 150 acre patchwork of working farm, riparian corridor, oak and redwood forest in the Pajaro Valley of Santa Cruz County, California.   What we care about We believe that we can transform personal and community health and improve our impact on earth by building and sustaining collaborative agricultural, ecological and social systems. We believe that communities armed with knowledge and the skills of inquiry can transform food, farming and natural systems for the better.   What we do Farm Discovery offers educational programs that inspire youth and families to transform their relationship to food, farming and nature. We steward our working farm and its wild spaces as an environmentally and economically viable piece of the food system and a learning space. We collaborate with community partners to learn from each other and extend our collective impact in the community.
