An evening to enjoy live music from musical artists James Spaite and Julius Obregón, Jr. Tickets for this show are very limited.
James Spaite is an alternative folk singer-songwriter and percussive fingerstyle guitarist from San Diego. Raised in the farmlands just outside of Sequoia National Park, Spaite's lyrical inspiration often draws on nature and what it teaches us about being human. His percussive fingerstyle / tap guitar style has been likened to Andy Mckee, Victor Wooten, Kaki King, Erik Mongrain, among others.
Having performed across the US, Europe, UK, and Argentina for years, Spaite picks back up where he left off pre-Covid-19, sharing music in spaces that feel like home. To listen before the concert, visit https://www.jamesspaite.com/together
Julius Obregón, Jr. is a singer-songwriter and guitarist based out of San Diego. As a first generation immigrant from the Philippines, his writing attempts to explore the many facets of the Filipino-American experience—from the mundane to the existential. His musical influences range from the indie folk of early Noah Gundersen, to the alternative R&B of Daniel Caesar, to the soul/blues music he gravitates to as a guitar player.
