The Town of Miami Lakes will mark Veterans Day with a park renaming ceremony on November 11th at 11:00 a.m. at 15151 Montrose Road (NW 82nd Avenue. Local veterans will join town officials in the rededication. What has been known as Picnic Park West on Montrose Road will be renamed Veterans Park. The Town’s Veterans Committee approached Vice-Mayor Collazo and requested the park’s name change based on its location to other important activities within the veteran’s community. The Town Council approved Vice-Mayor Luis E.
