Creativity, Community and Conversation meet to make Change. Umoja Cypher Sessions is monthly gathering where participants will explore pertinent social issues through creative expression and community-building. Each session will feature live performance and open discussion centered on matters such as mass incarceration, gentrification and climate change and an artist-led art-making component for community members. This month features an exploration of today's educational system, the disparities that plague it and how educators are working to level the playing field. Social distancing and will be observed.
