Using updated Census data, the City of Wauwatosa is required to approve new ward maps and subsequently new aldermanic district maps to guide future elections within the City. The Common Council chose to use the Milwaukee County Independent Redistricting Commission (IRC) to ensure that maps are fairly and equitably drawn. The Southeastern Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission (SEWRPC) created the maps on behalf of the IRC. We recently received maps of proposed wards and districts for Wauwatosa from SEWRPC. View the proposed Wauwatosa wards and districts map. The Government Affairs Committee will discuss these maps on November 9. We will have a public hearing on November 16 during the Common Council meeting which starts at 7:30 pm. You can attend the public hearing in person at City Hall or online via Zoom.
