This position’s basic qualifications will require some experience and proficiency in woodworking, carpentry, automotive paint and body repairs, or similar trade which will be necessary to understand and assemble varies parts and materials to complete the building process of manufactured products produced from solid surface materials such as countertops, window sills, sink bowls, wall panels, etc. Basic Daily Responsibilities for this Position Include: • Able to utilize precision measuring tools such as a tape measure and caliper, for setting up machines, cutting and assembling products. • Able to work independently on work. • Able to read and understand production work orders, submittals, work tickets and similar documents necessary to move projects through the production process. • Operate a variety of tools and machinery used in solid surface manufacturing. • Ability to problem-solve to achieve design intent. • Use correct color matching joint adhesive when gluing pieces together. • Able to match materials for color, grain, texture, and other similar characteristics. • Able to assemble varies parts together to form countertops, sills, wall panels, shaped and radiused fronts for reception and nurses’ desk. • Selects abrasives, polishes, etc., according to finishes specified, and steps in finishing processes. • Maintain company quality control standards, practices, and checks. • Able to prepare assemblies for shipping. • Willing to work additional hours to meet project deadlines when required. • Follow and implement company safety standards, practices, and checks. • Wear proper PPE including eye, ear, and breathing protection. • Perform daily cleanup of work area. Physical Requirements for this Position Include: • Able to frequently lift between 5 lbs. and 60 lbs. without assistance. • Able to sustain long periods of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and sitting. • Able to remain mobile in tight spaces. • Able to render physical assistance to team members if necessary.
