Description

In-person Youth Confirmation and Eucharist Outside We are excited to offer an in-person confirmation class for youth and families on Sunday mornings with Eucharist! Youth, youth families, and all who want to support them are welcome. An activity kit for kids will be available. Everyone will sit six feet apart in family groups. How to Prepare Outdoor worshipers accept the responsibilities of gathering in pandemic conditions and agree to abide by the following practices for everyone’s health and safety: Pray: Talk with God about why you wish to participate and what you hope to gain. Mentally prepare to keep the necessary distance. Consider how you will greet others you see without touching. If it is better for you to remain home for your health and safety, offer any sadness you may feel about that to God. Discuss: Talk with members of your household about whether you wish to do this. If bringing young children, talk with them about the importance of keeping distance and wearing masks. Check your health: Before arriving, ask yourself how you have been feeling. Do not attend if anyone in the household is experiencing fever, cough, sore throat, loss of energy, nausea, loss of taste/smell or other symptoms of COVID-19 or other communicable disease. If you believe any of you have been exposed to COVID-19, or anyone with symptoms of COVID-19, or to anyone who may themselves have been exposed, regardless of your current symptoms, please do not attend. The Church reserves the right to ask those expressing symptoms to separate from the group, leaving the grounds of the Church until you are feeling better and symptom-free. Face Masks: Please bring your own face mask or covering with you and wear it throughout your time on campus. Seating: Some benches will be available, but you're welcome to bring your own chair if you have one. Register: Please sign up if you wish to participate. By registering, you agree to abide by the guidelines above. You also agree to give us your contact information. The Church will gather and maintain contact information of all in attendance to facilitate any communication or contact tracing that could become necessary in the event a case of COVID-19 is identified among those who participated. If you have trouble with Eventbrite, contact Meg at [email protected] and she will help you register.
