Chatham Township Historical Society's Patricia Wells, along with Chatham Historical Society's Susan Allen, will each share stories about the veterans, focusing on their lives before and after they served in the U.S. military.
The Library of the Chathams has also been working on the Veterans Project of the Chathams, which kicked off on Memorial Day, with the library collecting written, audio or video stories, as well as artifacts, from veterans or their loved ones. See the video below to learn more about the project.
Chatham residents who would like to share their veteran stories, can begin by requesting a form at the library's reference desk, emailing [email protected], completing the form online or by calling 862-246-6108.
