Description

NASHUA, NH — Nashua Fire Rescue and AMR ambulance were dispatched to 22 Auburn St. for a medical emergency just before midnight on Thursday. Responders were advised to stage away from the scene until Nashua police made sure the scene was secure. After a short time, firefighters and medics were cleared to make entry and it was determined the person was deceased and the scene was secured by police. The building, which is located on the corner of Locust Street, is a multi-unit building and appears to have at least four apartments. NH Attorney General John M. Formella issued a statement around 4 a.m. advising they were responding to a suspicious death investigation on Auburn Street and did not give a specific address. "Based on information currently known to investigators at this time, there does not appear to be any danger to the public," the statement said. Friday morning, three Nashua cruisers were outside the address with one officer at the front door appearing to secure the scene. Nashua NH Patch will update this post when more information becomes available. ©Jeffrey Hastings www.frameofmindphoto.com/news
