2 year old blue nose Needs out by 11/7/21end of day or 💔 Will be put down Foster & Rescue needed Felicia #A4648664 came into shelter under a fake bite! So her start was not good. The fake bite happened during a dog fight, it was confirmed with victim that Felicia did not bite him. So now she got a bad rap! Imagine being accused of something you didn't do and not being able to speak up about it! This sweet gal was on edge being reactive to other dogs at shelter and just not doing well. Then today happened! Today was a great day! Felicia made some progress! Great progress but it's just 2 days before her euthanasia date. Is it enough to give her more time, we doubt it unfortunately. Felicia came forward tail wagging and happy to see handler today! She was happy and wiggly on leash. On way back she ran up to several kennels to say hi to other dogs sniffing and displaying no aggression! That is a huge improvement for Felicia. Very brave of her! Usually when a dog is reactive, they are often scared. She has shown she can learn with a little training and work to not be reactive. We do not know if she would get along with other dogs. We do not know what caused the dog fight. So it would probably be best for Felicia to be an only pup for now. Felicia can Not just be adopted, she must have a Newhope rescue to pull.
