Beloved pet needs more FREE S image 1 of 3 1 123 FREE TO GREAT HOME Big Guy needs more space and attention Unfortunately, we are way behind on finding our beloved, Miso, a more appropriate living space. Short story long, we adopted a pup and named him Miso. An adorable white with patches of black puppy with black rings around his tail like a raccoon. If he was any bigger at birth, I might have asked if one of his parents was a cow, given the makings he had. After taking home and getting him all set, we wondered what his exact birthday was, so we texted his owners about it. We received a vague response as to his birthday, but also a couple of photos of Miso's parents. OMG!!! By the way, we were told Miso was a mix of Pitbull and Akbash after we had gone to see him. We had decided to go see the litter based on the photos of the pups and hoped this one was still available. Having not thought about parents size and relation to offspring, we were quite shocked to see Misos dad, the Akbash, laying down and long haired, and Miso's mom, the pit, with her front paws on the shoulders of the photographer, looking them straight in the face and short hair. Needless to say we tried to ignore the inevitable truth of the matter being, Miso was most likely going to be a large dog. Long story longer, we simply don't have enough yard space for Miso to be happy, and he frequently let's us know. We take him to the dog park as often as we can given the pandemic restrictions. Miso is a large dog, not as big as his parents, thankfully. At the park, Miso is always very energetic and playful with other animals at the park. I think sometimes he doesn't realize how big he is when interacting with smaller dogs a is slightly over-zealous. If you have the desire and accommodations to give beloved pet a more appropriate home, we would be eternally greatful. With a little training Miso would be a loyal companion and guard dog for a long time. Any questions feel free by email.
