bassist looking for alt/grunge or punk project

Franco here, I’ve just moved to the area and looking for a new project. I played bass in an NYC punk band but interested in joining/starting a band focused on new alt, grunge, punk or something of the likes. I’m cool with playing covers to begin with but would prefer writing/collaborating on originals, and singing backing vocals. I’d ideally have time to practice once a week for starters.
