JESTER Group Pistol 4: Vehicle Pistol Tactics and Techniques This comprehensive 8-hour course introduces a variety of tactics and techniques for shooting from inside and around a vehicle. Shooters will run through drills designed to develop the insight, skills and ability necessary to defend themselves while seated in, exiting, and entering a stopped vehicle. Focus Areas • Individual equipment assessment • Pistol manipulation • Covert draw • Dynamic draw • Driver considerations • Passenger consideration • Shooting from the vehicle • Exit strategies • Shooting and moving • Use of vehicles as cover • Real world scenarios • Multiple threat engagements • Post engagement actions Equipment Needed • Quality functional semi-automatic pistol in one of the following calibers: .380, 9MM, .357SIG, .40S&W, or .45ACP. Full size and compact pistols only. No micro pistols or pocket pistols. • 2 Quality magazines minimum • Concealed holster (Optional) • Open carry holster • Magazine pouch(es) • Sturdy belt at least 1.5” wide • Footwear suitable for rapid movement and turning • Clothing suitable for training • Overgarment • Wraparound eyewear, polycarbonate lenses or non-shattering prescription glasses • Ear protection • Note pad and pen • Estimated round count: 250 rounds pistol This is an ADVANCED level class. Student must demonstrate safe gun handling, weapon familiarity, fundamental marksmanship skills, and proficiency working from a holster. Student must be a graduate Defensive Pistol or equivalent. After a brief assessment, shooters will be placed in the appropriate skill level group. Questions about the course?
