This comprehensive 4-hour course focuses on enhancement of defensive shooting and gun-handling skills with the semi-automatic pistol. JESTER Group Pistol 3: Defensive Pistol This comprehensive 4-hour course focuses on enhancement of defensive shooting and gun-handling skills with the semi-automatic pistol. After a brief assessment, instructors will run the students through a series of defensive handgun drills designed to increase time on target and performance. Certificate of Completion is awarded to students who successfully complete this class Focus Areas • Working from the holster • Draw stroke • Clearing malfunctions • Reloading techniques • Strong hand only shooting • Support hand only shooting • Moving and shooting • Speed and accuracy drills. Student Required Equipment • Quality functional semi-automatic pistol in one of the following calibers: .380, 9MM, .357SIG, .40S&W, or .45ACP. Full size and compact pistols only. No micro pistols or pocket pistols. • 2 Quality magazines minimum • Open carry holster • Magazine/loading device pouch(es) • Sturdy belt at least 1.5” wide • Footwear suitable for rapid movement and turning • Clothing suitable for training • Eye protection or non-shattering prescription glasses • Ear protection • Note pad and pen • Estimated round count: 200 rounds pistol This is an ADVANCED level class. Student must demonstrate safe gun handling, weapon familiarity, fundamental marksmanship skills, and proficiency working from a holster. Student must be a graduate JESTER Group Pistol 1 or equivalent. After a brief assessment, shooters will be placed in the appropriate skill level group Questions about the course?
