JESTER Group Pistol 4: Advanced Pistol Techniques This comprehensive 8-hour course introduces and reinforces the fundamentals of tactical shooting and weapons handling skills under stress. Speed, movement, stress, and accuracy are emphasized to create success on demand. Shooters will build the skills required to successfully employ these techniques in a tactical or survival situation. Certificate of Completion is awarded to students who successfully complete this class Focus Areas • Advanced weapon manipulation techniques • Combat marksmanship fundamentals • Unorthodox shooting positions (standing, grounded and seated) • Shooting while moving drills • Shooting from cover • Multiple target exercises • Reaction drills • Stress shooting drills • Pistol malfunction drills • One-handed reloads • One-handed malfunction drills Equipment Needed • Quality functional semi-automatic pistol in one of the following calibers: .380, 9MM, .357SIG, .40S&W, or .45ACP. Full size and compact pistols only. No micro pistols or pocket pistols. • 2 Quality magazines minimum • Concealed holster • Open carry holster (Optional) • Magazine pouch(es) • Sturdy belt at least 1.5” wide • Footwear suitable for rapid movement and turning • Clothing suitable for training • Overgarment • Eye protection or non-shattering prescription glasses • Ear protection • Note pad and pen • Estimated round count: 500 rounds pistol This is an ADVANCED level class. Student must demonstrate safe gun handling, weapon familiarity, fundamental marksmanship skills, and proficiency working from a holster. Student must be a graduate Defensive Pistol or equivalent. After a brief assessment, shooters will be placed in the appropriate skill level group. Questions about the course?
