8 month old male purebred Great Dane, born February 24, in need of a loving home. It is with very sad hearts that we unfortunately, unwillingly, have to re-home our beloved Louie (Lou). Lou needs a new home because our landlord refuses to let us keep him and it’s either he goes or we go. Unfortunately we are not in a position to move at this time. Louie is a very sweet (large) puppy who has grown up with my husband, myself and our 4 kids aged 4, 6 and 7. He is amazing with kids, he just is not quite aware of his size so things (or little people) can get knocked over easily. He’s full of personality and loves to “talk.” He is up to date on his shots but has not been neutered. The vet wanted to wait until after 7 months. He weighs about 80-90 lbs (not exact because he grows by the day). He was the runt of the litter but is now larger than all of his siblings and is expected to weigh 110-150 lbs. He has a beautiful fawn coat with a white chest. He’s an indoor dog who is house trained and will alert to go out by standing by the door and giving you “the look.” He loves other animals and loves to play. A home with another friendly dog would be great. He likes to run and play so a house with a yard would be best, also a home with someone who loves to walk or run.
