I’m gonna keep it 💯, I’m originally from NYC so I like my rap music to be lyrical. Most rappers I’ve heard here in Seattle doesn’t seem to be interested in such, but there gotta be someone here who can really spit serious bars. I’m currently listening to Jay N!ce, Left Lane Didon, Mach Hommy, Ransom, AhnkleJohn, Your Old Droog, Estee Nack, Crimeapple, Rome Streetz, Benny The Butcher, Conway The Machine, Smoke Dza, Dark Lo, Che Noir, Flee Lord, and Stove God Cooks. The goal is to form a DJ/MC duo that can make the dopest records, design merchandise, shoot some artistic videos, promote and market our records, build a following, book local shows, go out on tour, and sell that merchandise. I have a serious work ethic as a DJ and producer and will expect the same type of commitment from my MC/music partner. Thanks to the Griselda movement lyrical rap over Boom Bap music is making a very strong comeback and thankfully nonsensical mumble rap is playing itself out like the band on the Titanic.
