Security Force Training Academy (SFTA) is a Veteran Owned and Operated F licensed academy headquartered out of El Paso, Texas. SFTA conducts training in El Paso, Lubbock, Midland, and Odessa as well as in New Mexico. We specialize in training and licensing armed and unarmed Security officers, Bodyguards and Private Investigators. Our training academy is approved and licensed by the Texas Department of Public Safety - Regulatory Services Division and meets several other State, National and Federal standards. SFTA owner and lead instructor Joe Santillan has over 13 years in Law Enforcement/ Corrections and over 15 concurrent years in the Security Profession. Within his vast list of achievements and certifications Mr. Santillan is a Certified Krav Maga for Law Enforcement Instructor, Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) and National Rifle Association (NRA) Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor and Certified Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) operator to include many more while still currently serving in the Law Enforcement field.
