Hi. My name is Debbie. The reason I turned to Craigslist today is because I’m out of options to help me financially right now. A year ago I adopted a sweet baby greatdane named Norma Jane who has helped me through the darkest times in my life. @norma_jane_the_greatdane Unfortunately I had an accident with her at the dog park that broke my ankle and left me completely unable to care for her. I was scheduled to start a job November 8. I currently have no health insurance & no job. I have a surgery scheduled to fix my ankle but with no insurance it’s going to cost around $60,000 out of pocket that I absolutely do not have. I had to make the hardest decision of my life to rehome my sweet baby NormaJane that has only ever been with me. I have done nothing but cry nonstop because I know she misses me and there’s absolutely nothing I can do. Because I’m unable to walk and care for her. I know she will be well taken care of. But the pain of loosing her is truly feeling like my heart has shattered. I guess I’m just looking for the universe to send me a little bit of positivity my way. I have always helped people in need and even people that weren’t in need. I’ve always had a big heart and I’ve always enjoyed taking care of other people. I was hoping that maybe someone out there will find it in their heart to help someone who is in a very dark place alone scared and struggling.
