River is a 4 month old mixed breed Possibly collie and husky that I adopted recently. He is turning out to be more than I can handle and I feel it would be best to find someone who has the energy to work with him. He is not suitable for a home with small children as he has food aggression. I have a large dog that he is good with and he loves people. He has been around cats but it's too tempting for him to chase them. I do have the option of returning him to the shelter but I think this will be too traumatic for him. He will not do well in a crate or kennel at this time. Unfortunately he did not receive the nurturing at the shelter that young puppies need and he was born there.
