Security Force Training Academy (SFTA) is fully Licensed by the Texas Department of Public Safety – Private Security Bureau (PSB) (F01233) to conduct Level 2 (unarmed), Level 3 (armed) and Level 4 (PPO) certification classes, as well as several others. Job Placement Assistance: Security Force Training Academy works with a network of Security Companies and Agencies who are looking to hire Quality Trained Security Officers. Job placement assistance is afforded to qualified graduating students. No guarantees are implied. The Instructors at Security Force are Board Approved State Licensed Instructors with expansive training, real life experience and firsthand knowledge of the Security Profession. A few certifications our Instructors hold are: *TCOLE (Texas Commission on Law Enforcement) Certified Instructors *Expandable Baton, OC (pepper spray) and Handcuffing Instructors *NRA Law Enforcement Certified Pistol and Shotgun Instructors *NRA Civilian Pistol and Shotgun Instructors *Texas Dept. of Public Safety (DPS) License to Carry Instructors *Texas Dept. of Public Safety – PSB Combined Classroom/ Firearms Instructors *Prior/ Current Military and Law Enforcement working experience Security Force Training Academy will be conducting several Level 3 Armed Security Officer Certification classes in the upcoming months. Dates for these classes are as follows: *Tuesday - Friday, November 16-19, 2021 @ 9am *Tuesday - Friday, Nov 30- Dec 03, 2021 @ 9am *Tuesday - Friday, December 07-10, 2021 @ 9am *Tuesday - Friday, December 14-17, 2021 @ 9am COURSE FEE: $150 for this course We have equipment rentals and ammo available for those who are unable to find it for certification.
